Finding a pocket friendly phone has become almost impossible in the modern market. Bluefox wants to change that. The Chinese brand just announced pre orders for the Aura A1, a tiny device with a 4.7 inch display. According to the official product reveal from Bluefox, this model targets users who are tired of carrying giant tablets in their pockets.
The screen is an IPS panel pushing 1600x720 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate. It peaks at 600 nits of brightness. Because the body is plastic, it measures just 117 by 54.6 millimeters. It easily fits in your palm.
Bluefox went with a MediaTek Helio G100 processor. You can get the phone with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X memory. Storage choices include 128 or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 space. If that is not enough, you can expand it up to 2 TB using a microSD card.
A 3500 mAh battery powers the system, which is generous for a device of this size. It supports 18 watt fast charging to get you back up and running quickly. For cameras, Bluefox packed a 64 megapixel main sensor on the back using an OmniVision OV64B40 chip. On the front, you get a 16 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The device ships with Android 16 installed right out of the box. Other useful additions include an NFC chip, an IR port to control your TV, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner for quick security. Bluefox has opened pre orders, though they are keeping the final retail price and delivery schedule under wraps for now.
