Xiaomi Launches Redmi Turbo 5 Max with MediaTek Dimensity 9500
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Turbo 5 Max as its latest smartphone model for Chinese consumers. The latest smartphone model in the Redmi Turbo series serves as the first device to implement MediaTek's Dimensity 9500s chipset. Reports suggest that this device will be introduced to international markets later this year as Poco X8 Pro Max.
Performance and Hardware Specifications
The new 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor functions as the main processing unit for the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The chipset features a CPU design that combines one Cortex-X925 core with three Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores. The system uses an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU for graphics processing while it relies on a MediaTek NPU 890 for AI tasks.
Xiaomi provides LPDDR5X RAM combined with UFS 4.1 flash storage to meet the hardware requirements.
Battery and Charging
The device stands out because of its extremely high power storage space. The handset features a battery that can store 9,000 mAh of energy. The system allows fast battery charging through its 100W wired charging system despite having a large battery capacity.
Display and Cameras
The smartphone features an AMOLED display that measures 6.83 inches and shows images at 2,772 x 1,280 pixel resolution. The screen supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and offers dimming technologies including 3,840 Hz PWM dimming and DC dimming. The maximum brightness of the display reaches 3,500 nits.
