Panasonic Lumix ZS300 Compact Travel Zoom Camera Features 20 Megapixel Sensor 15x Optical Zoom and 4K Video Support for Release in 2026
The Lumix ZS300 Compact Zoom Series which Panasonic has reintroduced. Panasonic has officially announced the launch of the Lumix ZS300 which is a modern update to its established line of compact travel zoom cameras. The new model which replaces the ZS200 comes with a portable design that provides multiple focal length options. The device is scheduled to enter the market in May 2026 with a retail price of $1,115 for the black and gray color options.
The core of the Lumix ZS300 utilizes a 20 megapixel sensor with a one inch surface area which ensures high image quality even in a small chassis. The camera features a 15x optical zoom lens which produces a focal length that corresponds to 360mm on a full frame camera system. Panasonic has included integrated image stabilization system which helps photographers take clear shots while using handheld equipment at extended focal lengths to work under various lighting situations.
The implementation of USB C charging enables Panasonic to modernize its equipment through improved power standard compatibility. The optical viewfinder which existed in earlier model of Lumix ZS300 has been removed from the current design to create a more compact and streamlined product. During operational use people will use the rear display to frame and review their pictures.
The Lumix ZS300 series maintains its strong video capabilities through its ability to record content at 4K resolution which produces high definition video. The camera can create artistic movement by recording slow motion videos at 1080p resolution with a frame rate of 120 fps.
