Assassin Creed Hexe Development Details Reveal Anika Auditore Lineage and Ezio Return Amidst Wurzburg Witchcraft Setting and New Gameplay Mechanics
Some fresh details about the development of Assassin Creed Hexe have been revealed through industry leakers Rogue and j0nathan. The main protagonist's name has been confirmed as Anika (Elsa being a codename). Most importantly, in a major plot twist Anika is confirmed to be a direct descendant of Claudia Auditore which ties her lineage back to arguably the most important family in the series. This story is said to be significantly better than that in recent games, since Origins.
The reappearance of Ezio Auditore has been 100% confirmed through the leaks. Ezio can appear either as a physically manifested character, an Isu object (likely a artifact), or perhaps even as a flashback; some leaked dialogue implies a scene where Anika discovers an assassins robes, which she comments to herself resemble illustrations of an ancestor's garb her mother kept.
