Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini Arcade Home Limited Edition Features Unique Retro Red Shell Design And Preloaded Classic IGS Arcade Games Including Pricing And Storage Options
Ayaneo introduced another device in their line of Android hardware the Pocket Air Mini Arcade Home Limited Edition. It is a co design with Arcade Home. This leads to a unique look to the device and some tweaks in software that make it different to previous ones. Official product announcement by Ayaneo says that the handheld comes in a red shell with gold directional buttons and gold thumbsticks. It appears that the design pays homage to the retro arcade cabinet looks.
This special limited edition comes with special software unlike typical Android devices. It is the first one to house an in house developed emulator made by Ayaneo, allowing the handheld to run officially licensed classic arcade titles from IGS. The device is preloaded with some major arcade games, including: Knights of Valour, Oriental Legend, Demon Front, The Killing Blade and Martial Masters. It can be played as soon as you take it out of the box as a retro gaming machine.
For those who would prefer not to get a physical unit of this special console, a digital compilation of 8 classic IGS titles would be available on Steam before the end of the year and will feature modern features such as online multiplayer support. For the Nintendo Switch handheld, the collection can currently be purchased on the respective e shop at the price of $29.99.
The Pocket Air Mini Arcade Home Limited Edition will be available with two distinct RAM storage configurations: a standard model that has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage at the price of $129.99, and a superior model that has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage at the price of $139.99.
