Overclocker wytiwx set a new global frequency milestone by overclocking an Intel Core i9 14900KF processor to a stunning 9206.34 MHz. The overclocker's feat ranks 1st in the world of 16118 submitted entries on the global list of rankings, reaching 170% of the clock speed in the submission report of Elite League verification, while using only 8 performance cores of the Raptor Lake architecture.
The hardware required a setup for a very high electrical load and required the best conditions in order to maintain stability at extreme speeds. Liquid Helium was used as cooling agent along with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste to transfer heat away from the processor and the mother board used in this event was an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex which is built specifically for extreme frequencies.
