Nubia Red Magic 11S Pro Series Launched With Snapdragon 8 Elite Performance Native Steam PC Support And Innovative Under Display Camera Technology
The Red Magic 11S Pro gaming line has been launched by Nubia in China. The Chinese launch shows the smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition which is clocked up to 4.74GHz to facilitate high performance and reduce the distinction between mobile and desktop gaming. The phones feature native Steam support that permits users to launch supported PC games within a game center that synchronizes your saved files across your devices.
The devices are both passively cooled by a 4th generation liquid air cooling system that incorporates an internal fan clocked at 24,000 rpm that only generates noise less than 30 dB. The higher end Red Magic 11S Pro Plus gets an advanced liquid module to provide a consistent thermal performance during extended gaming sessions without any throttling. The entire series sports an IPX8 water resistance rating. High performance gaming triggers and a proprietary Red Core R4 chip are featured on both the standard and the plus versions to implement frame interpolation and optimization to deliver the 144Hz display.
The series is equipped with a 6.85 inch OLED panel featuring 2688 x 1216 resolution. The screen also packs a 2000 nit peak brightness along with the completely hidden 16MP front facing under display camera. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is also embedded in the screen for speedy authentication. Additional specs include high quality stereo speakers, IR blaster, and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.
In terms of battery the Red Magic 11S Pro comes equipped with a 8000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging. The 11S Pro Plus however gets a slightly smaller 7500mAh battery but boasts support for 120W wired and 80W wireless charging for quick top ups. The Red Magic 11S Pro starts at 5499 yuan ($807) for the 12GB/256GB configuration while the 11S Pro Plus with 12GB/256GB configuration is priced at 6199 yuan ($910). The top of the line 16GB/1TB Red Magic 11S Pro Plus costs 7999 yuan ($1175). Both the devices are expected to be launched globally soon.
