Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max Launch as Premium AI Powered Earbuds with Advanced Noise Cancellation and Smart Display Cases
Soundcore introduces a pair of flagship wireless earbuds, Liberty 5 Pro and the top tier Liberty 5 Pro Max. This generation of product is "the brand's move into the premium audio segment" as per the launch announcement of Soundcore brand. The earbuds use an AI chip, THUS to handle intelligent audio features, and features custom charging cases with dynamic visual displays. To achieve these hardware, they have utilized on device ML to optimize active noise cancellation, and voice transmit quality.

The standard Liberty 5 Pro places strong emphasis on vocal accuracy while having phone conversations. To achieve this, 8 mics and 2 bone conduction sensors are used in hardware, working along with the THUS chip. The hardware uses a neural network to distinguish and isolate voices without changing its timbre. ANC 4.0 which can process incoming sound waves at 384000 per second provides 2 times the noise reduction of its predecessor the Liberty 4 Pro.
Both personalization and audio restoration have been achieved using their own algorithms. HearID 5.0 applies a custom frequency curve tailored to each listener's profile, and the AI Sound Enhancement algorithm attempts to recover up to 65% of the detail lost during wireless Bluetooth transmission. In terms of hardware features, the earbuds use the Bluetooth 6.1 protocol to support Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio with head tracking, and the high resolution LDAC codec. Water and dust resistant rating is IP55 and simultaneous connections can be made to 3 devices. The accompanying charging case has a 0.96 inch LCD touch screen to operate playback and various settings.
Liberty 5 Pro Max upgrades to a more detailed display and additional productivity features. It swaps the small display with a 1.78 inch AMOLED touch display. This model also includes real time transcription utilities to generate notes of the recorded conversation through AI. Both earbuds support real time translation, but Pro Max version can transmit translation in two ways: through earbuds and speaker inside the charging case.
Both models aim for long daily use with long battery life. Both can achieve up to 6.5 hours of music with ANC on, with the charging case delivering 28 hours of playback in total. A 5 minute quick charge within the case can give 4 hours of playtime. Soundcore is releasing the Liberty 5 Pro in white pink blue and black colors with the price of $169 in US. For the premium model Liberty 5 Pro Max, available colors are black and gold for $229.
