ASUS Earns Multiple Best Choice Honors at Computex

ASUS Dominates Computex with Ten Best Choice Awards for ROG Gaming Desktops Sustainable Tech and Innovative Commercial Hardware Engineering

ASUS has certainly made their mark at Computex with a grand total of 10 Best Choice Awards up their sleeves. The two most notable include the Golden Award for their ROG G1000 Edition 20 gaming desktop and the Sustainable Tech Special Award for the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra; the press announcement from ASUS states these awards highlight the company's focus on both hardware engineering and circular design within their consumer and commercial product lineups.

ROG G1000 Edition 20

In addition to the two top awards, ASUS snagged eight Category Awards for their hardware. These included the ASUS Ascent GX10 in the AI Computing and Tech category and the ROG Zephyrus Duo, ROG Flow Z13 KJP and ROG Rapture GT BN98 Pro in the Gaming and Immersive Tech category. Other award winners were the ASUS Zenbook DUO UX8407, ASUS ProArt GoPro Edition PX13, and ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 in the Computer and System category, and the ROG Cetra Open Wireless in the auxiliary applications category.

With a chassis to suit any collectors shelf, matte black and gold have become standard on the ROG G1000 Edition 20 gaming desktop. As the first prebuilt desktop on the market to include AniMe Holo, the holographic fan system which projects custom animations and branding for users. For consistent performance under demanding loads the case features a tri zone airflow system that separately cools the CPU, GPU and power supply. In a thermally separated chamber houses the 420mm liquid cooler that draws outside air to reduce temperatures up to 16 degrees Celsius. With the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU, ROG Astral RTX 5090, 128GB DDR5 memory, full dust filtration, and the physical Fan Key this desktop has it all.

ASUS ExpertBook Ultra

The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra wins the Sustainable Tech Special Award due to its circular design and material composition. It is constructed with a chassis made of 90% post industrial recycled magnesium aluminum alloy, 30% post consumer recycled plastic and 100% recycled rare earth magnets. Its overall weight of just 0.99 kilograms is maintained with its Nano Ceramic Technology durability rating of 9H. Inside you will find Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processors, Intel Arc Pro graphics and Intel vPro management. With an ExpertCool Pro system, it can sustain a performance of 50W TDP. The ExpertGuardian security system implements NIST SP 800 193 firmware resiliency standards, and the Digital Product Passport and Product Environmental Footprint framework helps to ensure life cycle transparency.

All of the award winning hardware from ASUS can be seen live at the Nangang Exhibition Center (Hall 1). Visitors can find both the main ASUS booth at M0820 and the dedicated ROG booth at M0504. The machines are on display during the standard exhibition hours throughout the trade show.
