From the official response by the company, these servers were turned off due to a scheduled, extensive upgrade to their online infrastructures. Black Shark is integrating all the online services into a single environment to make the experience easier for users and once finished, the community features and online shop will be back on a single application dedicated to Black Shark.

This transition is meant to enhance the way the company communicates with its users. After the system restart, Black Shark will implement a specific after sales service page in its new application, giving to its gaming gear and accessory owners the possibility to send their digital repair requests during the software.

Users will also have the option of checking the live status of hardware RMA, aside from submitting claims. Representatives of the company said the changes are meant to raise the bar on customer support. Instead of shutting down businesses, Black Shark considers this infrastructure improvement an essential investment to sustain their ecosystem of gaming accessories and hardware.
