Gloway and KingBank launch domestic DDR5 24Gb DRAM modules for 48GB desktop PC memory capacity

Gloway and KingBank both announce new DDR5 UDIMM desktop memory modules based on self produced 24Gb DRAM dies. IT Home reports that it allows hardware manufacturers to get 24GB capacity for a single module using 8 chip scheme, so 48GB DDR5 UDIMM for system memory for PC users.

Gloway has unveiled the new Dragonslayer Yi Special Commemorative Edition memory module that has a transfer rate of 6000MT/s and CL36 38 38 80 timings with 1.25V operation. On the inside the memory module has an unique Yi series customized heatsink with limited edition finish; thermal conductivity can be improved by using the integrated 5W/m.K silicone thermal pad while system compatibility has been improved in terms of AMD platform support.

KingBank has introduced a new model of Star Blade RGB Series based on domestic chips with the 2mm thermal armor for quickly removing heat from the PCB and using direct connection between PMIC with thermal grease. Each module has 16 high brightness light emitting diodes embedded on each side that offer colorful visual effects in the PC chassis.
