According to an official teaser video uploaded by the manufacturer, the Nothing Phone 4b is refreshed aesthetics that scales back the design elements of transparency that were present on the previous generation. The transparency appears to be focused on an enlarged large rectangular camera module on the back. The flat frame appears to be made of plastic and is bordered by physical black buttons and a bezel less display. There will be at least 1 blue colorway, and the other two colors are currently unknown.
The famous rear lighting system also became more basic. The LED array on the Nothing Phone 4b is reduced to 5 large LEDs, in comparison to the 7 LEDs used on the Phone 4a. The arrangement is still used as an indicator for incoming notifications and a camera self timer countdown assistant. These make me think efforts were put into making the Phone more affordable to produce, without losing the recognizable look.
Technical specifications have previously surfaced by way of benchmark leaks revealing that the Nothing Phone 4b will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. This system on chip comprises of 4 ARM Cortex A720 performance cores as well as 4 Cortex A520 efficiency cores. The performance leaked points towards a score that is similar to the stock Phone 4a, implying it can perform effectively on a daily basis. There will be 2 storage options available for consumers to choose from; 8GB RAM with 128GB storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
Display We will see a 6.7 inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and with the 120 Hz refresh rate in the touch sampling rate, it makes the scrolling and the animations of the interface very smooth, despite the other hardware has a lower quality in feature. The camera has a 50 megapixels sensor for the main camera, the details of the secondary camera, the outside of the rear camera are not very well confirmed. Under the hardware is a 5400 mAh battery, which is the current average for a premium device in this category. The final price and all the regional editions are going to be confirmed during the launch presentation.
