Philips 27M2N6591L Gaming Monitor Launched With QD OLED Technology 240Hz Refresh Rate And Professional Color Accuracy

Philips is increasing its game hardware catalog further as they have just revealed their new 27M2N6591L monitor. This monitor is using a top of the line panel made by Samsung Display that they will promote it as a powerful display aimed for competitive gamers that focuses on providing the fastest response times and colorful picture reproductions.

The monitor will boast a 27 inch QD OLED panel and it will come with a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the display will offer a refresh rate of 240Hz and it will boast an ultra fast 0.03ms gray to gray response time and have a contrast ratio of 1500000:1. For brightness it will provide 200 nits normally or when set on HDR. While on SDR mode you can boost the brightness up to 400 nits on HDR content.

The monitor has a 10 bit depth which allows it to reproduce 99% of the DCI P3 color gamut, it also provides 98% coverage of the Adobe RGB spectrum and 147.5% of the sRGB color space to ensure you have one of the best and color accurate screens. To keep your game experience stutter and tear free on every intensive gaming session the display will provide Adaptive Sync technology as well. Finally, the monitor features a built in Ambiglow ARGB system which will emit the color light in the environment around your screen onto the wall behind.

On the input output ports placed on the back of the screen we can find

  • 1x HDMI 2.0 port
  • 2x USB 3.0 Type A ports with a built in KVM function
  • 3.5mm headphone jack for your audio needs

The monitor includes a height, tilt, and swivel adjustable stand for total ergonomic versatility. If the provided stand doesn't suit your configuration, the chassis is compatible with the standard 100 x 100mm VESA interface for your custom setups. Philips has yet to announce the retail price and availability regions for the 27M2N6591L model.
