Sony and Rockstar Grand Theft Auto VI Development for PlayStation 5 Pro with DualSense Features and Pre Order Digital Editions
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games will be working together to ensure Grand Theft Auto VI runs perfectly on the PlayStation 5 console and also the all new PS5 Pro. The action escapade in the fictional state of Leonida and the flashing bright lights of Vice City is announced to be built precisely to work with the audio and input of the console. The detail and scope is missing but the game is suggested to be specifically built for a very highly tuned single player experience upon its launch in late autumn.
The dual protagonists Jason and Lucia single player story will incorporate the unique features of the DualSense wireless controller. Haptic feedback within the controller creates sends physical vibration signals to reinforce in game movements while adaptive triggers create even varied tension levels during physics heavy uses. An inbuilt speaker within the controller will be used to project localised sound effects enhancing player connection to the game world.
Sonic positioning is to be delivered via the console hardware utilizing the Tempest 3D AudioTech. This replicates very accurate acoustic enviroments across the huge maps of Leonida enabling the player to determine the exact source and path of ambient sounds and city traffic. The console is to be fitted with a custom ultra high speed solid state drive to eliminate loading screens providing an almost instantaneous transition across the huge game map.
Digital pre orders are expected to be introduced early in the year via the Play Station digital marketplace. Customers will be able to purchase either the default version of the game or the Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition which has a special suite of in game vehicles, weaponry and gowns for the characters.
