Halliday has announced the G2 smart glasses, a lightweight wearable focused on business productivity and daily utility. The device features real time transcription and translation for 45 languages without requiring an external controller or a built in camera. The new glasses are scheduled to ship this September starting at $599 in the US.

A major feature of the wearable is a system called Meeting Flow. This software listens to your conversations during meetings to display live subtitles and retrieve contextually relevant information. Once your meeting concludes, the AI automatically drafts a summary highlighting key decisions, assigned tasks, and unresolved questions. You can also view standard phone notifications and reminders on the display lenses.

The glasses run on the proprietary Halliday AI assistant, which accepts voice commands and supports hands free phone calls. The original version required a companion smart ring for system controls, but the brand has eliminated that accessory entirely. For users worried about screen glow, a built in Stealth mode drops the display brightness automatically in dark environments.

To keep the hardware light and comfortable, the company decided against installing an integrated camera. This design choice brings the total weight down to only 50 grams. Inside the frame, 2 micro LED projectors cast images onto each lens at a resolution of 600x300 pixels and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The product will launch in the US market later this autumn.
