The physical design of the dock is engineered for versatility, allowing users to position the unit either vertically or horizontally on a desk. The front panel of the aluminum enclosure is designed for quick access to mobile storage and peripheral connections. It features the main power button, status indicator lights, 1 USB Type C port rated for 10 Gbps speeds, and 2 USB Type A ports also running at 10 Gbps. Additionally, the front includes 2 separate card reader slots that support both SD and microSD media formats.

The rear of the docking station houses the high bandwidth interfaces required for dual display setups and high speed networking. A primary upstream Thunderbolt 5 port serves as the main connection to the host computer, supporting up to 140W of power delivery to keep laptops charged under heavy workloads. For further expansion, the back panel provides 3 downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports, 2 USB Type A ports operating at 10 Gbps, 2 HDMI 2.1 display outputs, 1 high speed Ethernet port rated at 2.5GbE, and 2 Kensington lock slots to prevent physical theft.

To ensure completely silent operation during intensive data transfers, Keychron opted for a fanless thermal management system. Heat is dissipated passively through a built in ventilation grille on the chassis assisted by a large internal aluminum plate that draws warmth away from the internal chips. The 14 in 1 docking station is currently shipping directly to consumers from the manufacturer website.
