Lenovo has launched the Lecoo Mini Pro, a budget mini PC built for home and office environments. The desktop packs a 6 core AMD Ryzen processor, 16 GB of memory, and a dual slot storage layout into a compact 0.8 liter chassis. However, the computer is currently exclusive to the Chinese market.
An AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processor serves as the brain of this compact machine. The chip features 6 processing cores and supports dual channel memory upgrades through 2 SO DIMM slots. Out of the box, the system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB solid state drive. Storage expansion is simple, as the motherboard includes 2 M.2 2280 slots to accommodate a second drive.
Despite the tiny physical footprint, the rear and front panels offer a generous selection of ports. Wired connectivity includes 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C port with display and power delivery capabilities, and 2 older USB 2.0 Type A ports. Dual 1 Gbps Ethernet jacks allow for complex network setups, while HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.2 manage video output. Wireless communication is handled by Wi Fi 5 and Bluetooth modules.
The computer is currently on sale in China for a retail price of 443 US dollars. Lenovo has not shared details regarding a launch in other regions. Buyers outside China will have to wait for official export details or third party retailers to stock the device.
