Nvidia Overtakes AMD German GPU Market Sales Leading in Both Volume and Revenue Share Results

The competitive balance in the graphics processor market has shifted once again according to the latest monthly retail sales data from Germany. Figures shared by TechEpiphany on the social media platform X show Nvidia capturing both the volume and revenue lead from AMD at major German retailer Mindfactory. The data highlights a market where Nvidia commands premium pricing while Intel struggles to gain a meaningful foothold in the desktop graphics space.

Nvidia secured the top spot by selling 3495 units which represents 50.8% of the total market volume. This sales volume combined with a massive average selling price of 1100 allowed Nvidia to generate 3843424 in revenue. This represents a dominant 65.99% share of all money spent on graphics cards during the sales cycle. The high average selling price indicates that consumers are heavily favoring premium Nvidia hardware despite the higher entry cost.

AMD slipped to second place in volume selling 3240 units to capture 47.09% of the market. Because AMD hardware generally targets more budget conscious buyers its average selling price sat at 591 during this period. This lower pricing resulted in 1915618 in total revenue representing 32.89% of the market spend. Intel remained in a distant third place with only 145 units sold. This gave the company a 2.11% volume share and 1.11% of the total revenue with an average selling price of 447.

While Nvidia won the overall volume and revenue battle AMD captured the top spots for individual GPU models. The Radeon RX 9070 XT was the single most popular GPU of the month with 1825 units sold representing 26.62% of all purchases. The Radeon RX 9060 XT followed in second place with 1260 units sold or 18.38% of the market. Nvidia countered in the mid range sector with the RTX 5060 Ti which sold 845 units representing 12.33% of the total volume. Other notable Nvidia sellers included the flagship RTX 5080 with 750 units and the RTX 5070 Ti with 725 units. The ultra premium RTX 5090 found 330 buyers accounting for 4.81% of sales.

Looking at individual board partner designs PowerColor dominated the top of the sales charts with its custom AMD solutions. The PowerColor Radeon RX 9060 XT Reaper was the absolute top selling physical card model of the month with 610 units delivered to customers. The PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound OC took the second spot with 540 units sold. The PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Reaper claimed the third position with 320 units. This concentration of sales shows that custom cooler designs and aggressive partner pricing continue to heavily influence consumer purchasing decisions in the desktop DIY market.
