Lenovo has launched the Legion Y700, a flagship 8.4 inch gaming tablet built for high performance portable gaming. The device combines a 165Hz OLED display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite hardware, dual USB C ports, and native 5G cellular connectivity. It is available now in China starting at an introductory price of 4999 CNY.
The front of the tablet is dominated by an 8.4 inch OLED gaming panel with a 2560x1600 resolution. The screen delivers a 165Hz refresh rate, an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3400Hz, and a peak brightness reaching 4000 nits. These display specs cater directly to fast paced mobile esports where low input lag and clear visuals are mandatory.
Internal hardware centers on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version processor. Lenovo paired the chip with LPDDR5T memory reaching transfer speeds of 10667Mbps and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, yielding an AnTuTu benchmark score of 4,585,844 points. To prevent thermal throttling during long gaming sessions, the tablet uses a centered cooling layout built around a large 15000mm² vapor chamber.
The tablet measures 6.5 millimeters thick and weighs roughly 298 grams, with rounded corners designed to sit comfortably in the hands. Color options include Ice White, Ink Purple, and Cloud Purple. The 16GB and 512GB version carries an introductory price of 5999 CNY against a 6499 CNY standard price. The top configuration with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at 7999 CNY during launch before adjusting to its regular price of 8499 CNY.
