Asus has launched the Tianxuan Air 2026 Ryzen AI Max edition, featuring an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor, Radeon 8060S integrated graphics with 40 compute units, and a 14 inch 165Hz display. The new lightweight gaming laptop is now available in China starting at 11,999 yuan, which converts to roughly $1,680 USD. Early buyers can also access temporary store discounts and gift card promotions.
The core of the machine runs on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor built on Zen 5 architecture. It packs 8 cores and 16 threads with boost clock speeds reaching up to 5.0GHz, backed by 40MB of combined L2 and L3 cache. Graphical tasks are handled by an integrated Radeon 8060S graphics module with 40 compute units. For local machine learning and assistant tools, the silicon includes a dedicated NPU delivering 50 TOPS of computational power.
Memory configuration relies on 32GB of unified LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 8000MHz. This pool allows the system to allocate memory between general system tasks and video memory on demand. Storage comes standard with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid state drive. Asus also left space for a second 2280 M.2 slot with light sensor power cut protection, making future storage upgrades simple.
The exterior uses aluminum alloy for the top and bottom covers with an Eclipse Gray finish. It weighs 1.48 kilograms and measures 1.69 centimeters thick. The display opens flat up to 180 degrees. The top bezel houses a dual FHD IR camera system that works with Windows Hello for face authentication.
