Motorola has officially unveiled the Signature 27, a new flagship smartphone featuring an asymmetrical rear layout and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 silicon. The device combines a 200 MP zoom lens with deep Google Gemini artificial intelligence integration. However, Motorola has not yet announced the official price tag or the exact retail launch schedule.
Motorola stepped away from conventional backplate layouts by arranging the lenses and flash into a U shaped configuration. The primary camera uses a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 910 image sensor alongside a 200 MP zoom module. Image steadiness is handled by an optical stabilization system with a 3.5 degree compensation angle. This works together with an onboard AI Video Enhancement Engine that adjusts color reproduction in real time during video capture.
Raw processing speed comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile platform. To keep thermal throttling under control during heavy computing, Motorola built a multi stage cooling system. The internal stack includes a vapor chamber, copper mesh, liquid metal, and thermal gel infused with crushed diamond dust. This processing setup is linked directly to Google Gemini, allowing the system assistant to handle complex automated tasks on the device. Audio is delivered through stereo speakers tuned in partnership with Bang & Olufsen.
The phone will be sold in 2 physical finishes. Buyers can pick between a black model with a textured Tactical Weave finish or a green version wrapped in a textile coating. Motorola confirmed that the Signature 27 will reach international markets before the end of the year. Specific regional rollouts and pricing details remain unannounced for now.
