ADATA XPG CORE REACTOR III Power Supply Adds Dual 12V 2x6 Protection

ADATA gaming brand XPG has launched the CORE REACTOR III, an ATX power supply featuring dual 12V 2x6 connector protection across both the chassis and modular cabling. The hardware supports modern graphics cards with output choices reaching 1000W and complies fully with the ATX12V 3.1 standard. The series comes backed by a 10 year factory warranty.

XPG integrates circuit protection directly into the power delivery path through its Power Guard system. Internal sensors monitor electrical resistance and immediately cut power to the 12V 2x6 terminal if an overload threat appears. Along the modular cable itself, an integrated Power Guard LED changes color in real time to alert users to electrical risks before hardware damage occurs.

The series offers 750W, 850W, and 1000W capacity options using fully modular cables. Built to handle modern graphics spikes, the platform absorbs instantaneous peak excursions reaching 235% of rated capacity under the ATX12V 3.1 specification. Electrical efficiency earns Gold ratings from both 80 PLUS and Cybenetics testing organizations.

Cooling relies on an internal 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan inside a 150mm long ATX enclosure. The hardware operates safely in ambient temperatures up to +50C. Circuit defense covers 8 separate safeguards, including over voltage, over power, short circuit, over current, under voltage, over temperature, no load operation, and surge protection.
