AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 Integrated Graphics Matches RTX 5060 in Early Tests

Independent benchmarks reveal that the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 delivers integrated graphics performance close to the discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060. Testing by hardware reviewer ETA PRIME shows the Radeon 8065S GPU running modern games at high frame rates in both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. These performance metrics arrive as the first retail mini PC systems reach the market.

AMD builds the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 on Zen 5 architecture with 16 cores. The integrated Radeon 8065S graphics chip contains 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units running at clock speeds up to 3 GHz. The platform supports up to 192GB of unified LPDDR5X 8533 memory, allowing systems to allocate as much as 160GB directly as dedicated video memory.

In the FEVM FAEX2 mini PC operating at 160W, the processor averaged 133 fps in Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p resolution on maximum settings without image upscaling. In Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p high settings, the chip achieved 104 fps. By comparison, the GeForce RTX 5060 hit 142 fps in Forza Horizon 5 and 109 fps in Cyberpunk 2077. The previous generation Ryzen AI Max+ 395 trailed behind, reaching 125 fps and 90 fps in those titles, and dropped to 107 fps in Shadow of the Tomb Raider where the 495 chip hit 151 fps.

Testing inside the GMKtec EVO X5 Pro mini PC at a 120W power limit produced 69 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p resolution on maximum settings using FSR 4.1 scaling. Red Dead Redemption 2 averaged 87 fps at a mix of high and ultra settings without upscaling. Crimson Desert reached over 90 fps with FSR frame generation enabled, falling to 40 fps on native rendering. In 3DMark Time Spy, the system scored 11743 points, representing an 11.8% increase over the EVO X2. Geekbench 7 testing recorded a 9.3% gain in single core speeds and a 12.1% uplift in multi core tasks.
