ATK Launches RS8 Air and RS8 Neo Gaming Keyboards with 87 Key Layout

ATK has launched the RS8 Air and RS8 Neo, a series of 87 key gaming keyboards built with gasket mount structures and 5 layer sound dampening padding. The hardware targets competitive players with options for magnetic switches reaching 0.001mm trigger precision or mechanical switches supporting 8K polling rates. Preorders are open now in China with prices starting at 299 yuan ($41 USD) for the RS8 Neo and 349 yuan ($48 USD) for the RS8 Air.

Both keyboards adopt an 87 key layout that preserves the dedicated function row for everyday typing alongside gaming shortcuts. Frosted polycarbonate keycaps sit on top of the chassis, complemented by decorative side wing accents. Inside, ATK implements a gasket mount design supported by 5 layers of internal acoustic foam to eliminate hollow typing sounds.

ATK equips the RS8 Air with third generation Liefeng Ultra magnetic switches. This setup achieves latency as low as 0.28ms while offering rapid trigger adjustments down to 0.001mm precision. A dedicated physical toggle on the frame lets users switch between onboard memory profiles instantly.

The RS8 Neo takes a different route by sticking to traditional mechanical switches. It features tri mode wireless connectivity alongside an 8K polling rate across both wired and 2.4G connections. Firmware support includes advanced input handling tools such as SOCD and MT configurations for competitive play.

Pricing in China starts at 299 yuan ($41 USD) for the mechanical RS8 Neo. The magnetic switch RS8 Air begins at 349 yuan ($48 USD). Customers can place initial deposits now to secure their units ahead of final balance shipments.
