Cooler Master has launched the MWE SFX Gold power supply series in 850W and 1000W capacities. Built for small form factor systems, these units feature ATX12V 3.1 compliance, 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, and a 10 year warranty. Prices in China begin at 859 yuan (around $119 USD) for the 850W model, with international release details pending.
The units meet ATX12V 3.1 and PCIe CEM 5.1 standards to deliver stable electricity to high draw components. Cooler Master uses a digital control architecture combined with 105C Japanese primary capacitors. A protective conformal coating covers the circuit board to guard against dust and moisture. For cooling, the internal layout uses wave shaped aluminum fins and a 92mm fluid dynamic bearing fan that stops spinning completely during light loads.
Cooler Master integrates 6 safety safeguards into the hardware: short circuit protection, over voltage protection, under voltage protection, over current protection, over power protection, and over temperature protection. The power supplies operate across a temperature range of 0 to +40 degrees Celsius and come backed by a 10 year warranty. The 850W unit costs 859 yuan (around $119 USD), while the 1000W variant retails for 999 yuan (around $138 USD).
