Coolpad is preparing a 6.3 inch wide format budget phone running on a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The device features a 16:10 aspect ratio LCD display and preloads the DroiClaw Zhuge 3 AI native operating system. Early retail information points to a 999 yuan price target in China ahead of an official release.
Visual details shared by an official Coolpad retail account show an unconventional wide slab chassis. Images confirm the front screen has asymmetrical borders where the bottom border measures noticeably thicker than the other 3 sides, indicating an LCD panel. The 6.3 inch display uses a 720p resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, opting for a wider viewing area rather than the tall, narrow proportions found on standard modern smartphones.
Internal computing relies on the MediaTek Helio G99 chip to drive daily tasks. Coolpad markets the device as the first wide format AI agent phone by integrating the DroiClaw Zhuge 3 AI native operating system directly into the software stack. Leaked images of the rear panel show a simple back cover design targeted at the entry level 1000 yuan market. Coolpad has not announced any release plans for markets outside China.
