Dell has launched the UltraSharp U3226QER, a 31.5 inch 4K monitor targeted at video editors, colorists, and graphic designers. The display pairs an IPS Black panel running at 120 Hz with an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen parameters to match ambient room conditions. The monitor is currently available on the Chinese market priced at $778.
The 31.5 inch IPS Black panel delivers a native resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. Contrast reaches a static 3000:1 ratio, while brightness peaks at 600 nits to meet VESA DisplayHDR 600 standards. Color coverage hits 99% DCI P3 and 100% sRGB, backed by factory calibration delivering a Delta E color variance rating below 1.5. Dell applies an anti reflective surface treatment to minimize background glare. Pixel response clocks in at 5 ms in Fast Mode, and the panel carries TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort verification to limit eye fatigue during long editing sessions.
Dell equips the chassis with dual Thunderbolt 4 connections supporting daisy chain configurations and delivering up to 140W of power pass through for laptops. Dedicated video inputs include 1 HDMI 2.1 port and 2 DisplayPort 1.4 jacks. Peripheral connectivity relies on 4 USB A ports operating at 10 Gbps speeds. A retractable pop out module at the bottom edge provides rapid access to 1 USB A port and 2 USB C ports. An integrated KVM switch allows 1 keyboard and mouse setup to toggle between 2 connected computer systems. The bundled stand supports height adjustments, tilt, swivel, and full 90 degree pivot into portrait mode.
