iQOO has introduced the G1 stretchable mobile gamepad, built to accommodate both smartphones and compact tablets. The controller features Hall effect sensors for the sticks and linear triggers alongside a modular clamping mechanism that extends up to 211 millimeters. It retails in China for 499 yuan (roughly $70 USD), with a 100 yuan ($14 USD) discount applied when purchased alongside qualifying iQOO hardware.
The controller uses Hall joysticks and Hall linear triggers to eliminate stick drift and deliver consistent analog accuracy. Full microswitch buttons handle the primary gaming controls, paired with customizable mini shoulder keys. Users can fine tune button parameters directly and swap between 2 included joystick caps to suit different thumb grip preferences. The 211 millimeter bracket extension secures devices ranging from phones like the iQOO 16 and iQOO Neo12 up to small tablets like the iQOO Pad Ultra and the iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 inch.
The standalone retail price is set at 499 yuan ($70 USD). Purchasing the controller bundled with an eligible iQOO phone or tablet drops the cost down to 399 yuan ($56 USD). The device enters the Chinese retail market first, with international availability details still unannounced.
