iQOO has launched the iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 inch, a compact tablet built specifically for mobile gaming. The device pairs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite silicon with an internal cooling fan and a 165Hz OLED display. It is available in China starting at 4299 yuan, while international launch plans have not yet been shared.
The computing platform combines the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with a proprietary Q3 gaming coprocessor. Working with the QNSS graphics engine, the hardware runs 2K resolution upscaling, ray tracing, and frame generation across supported titles. To control heat during long gaming sessions, iQOO installed an active 30 millimeter cooling fan alongside dual vapor chambers and graphite sheets covering over 23000 square millimeters of area. In factory tests running an open world title at maximum settings, the hardware sustained an average frame rate of 60.2 frames per second.
The 8.8 inch OLED panel delivers a 2304x1440 resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 93.3% screen to body ratio. Touch tracking operates at 500Hz with instantaneous bursts up to 5000Hz and an input response speed under 1ms. Brightness reaches 1600 nits across the entire panel, with localized HDR highlights peaking at 4500 nits. The screen covers 100% of the DCI P3 color space and carries TÜV Rheinland eye care certification to reduce blue light during extended play.
Power comes from a 9020 mAh semi solid state battery built with silicon carbon anodes. The cell maintains an energy density of 837 Wh per liter and retains at least 80% health after 1200 recharge cycles, functioning in temperatures from negative 20 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius. It supports 66W fast charging alongside a bypass charging mode that powers the board directly during games to reduce heat buildup. The tablet measures 5.74 millimeters thick, weighs 298 grams, runs OriginOS 7 HD on Android 17, and includes Wi Fi 7 and USB Type C 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity.
Pricing begins at 4299 yuan ($644) for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Upgrading memory to 12GB costs 4699 yuan ($704), while the 16GB tier with 256GB storage costs 5099 yuan ($764). The 512GB storage models cost 5399 yuan ($809) with 12GB of RAM and 5799 yuan ($869) with 16GB of RAM.
