Bmax MaxBook X15 S Pro Launches with Legacy Intel Core i3 8109U

Bmax has released the MaxBook X15 S Pro, introducing a budget 15.6 inch laptop for international markets. The machine relies on an 8 year old Intel Core i3 8109U dual core processor from 2018 paired with basic hardware components. The release targets low demand office tasks while keeping entry costs minimal.

The Intel Core i3 8109U processor features 2 cores and 4 threads, running at a 3.0 GHz base frequency with a maximum boost reaching 3.6 GHz. It includes 4 MB of Intel Smart Cache. In synthetic testing, this configuration scores approximately 2000 points in the Cinebench R23 multicore benchmark. That performance falls roughly 500 points behind modern entry silicon like the Intel N150, restricting the laptop to light document editing, media playback, and basic web tasks.

Bmax equips the laptop with a 15.6 inch IPS screen running at a resolution of 1920x1080, though specific color coverage data remains unlisted. The chassis uses a 180 degree hinge to adjust viewing angles flat against a desk. Physical ports consist of 3 USB 3.0 Type A ports, 1 USB Type C port, an HDMI video output, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless communication supports Bluetooth 5 and Wi Fi.

A 51.3Wh battery provides power for up to 7 hours of light operation. The machine is configured strictly for entry level office environments where daily computational requirements remain low.
