The core VR gear in the Xbox Edition is pretty much the same as the basic Meta Quest 3S, which came out in September 2025 starting at $300. But, Microsoft and Meta did more than just switch up the colors in this version.
The Xbox controller paired with the headset is ready to use. Also, the Xbox app for Quest is already set up, and it seems the headset starts right in the Xbox app when you turn it on.
