MaxTang has launched the NXALN51, a fanless mini PC built for industrial and networking tasks. The machine features an aluminum chassis, 4 high speed 2.5GbE ethernet ports, and low power Intel processor options. It is aimed at edge computing and local network routing, though official retail pricing has not yet been announced.
MaxTang equips the NXALN51 with either the quad core Intel N100 Alder Lake N or the newer Intel N150 Twin Lake processor. Passive cooling handles heat dissipation across the compact 127 by 127 by 43.5 millimeter aluminum enclosure without fans. Internal hardware expansion includes 1 DDR4 SO DIMM slot for memory. Storage and wireless connectivity rely on 1 M.2 B Key slot supporting 2242 or 2280 solid state drives alongside 3042 cellular modems, plus 1 M.2 E Key slot for Wi Fi cards.
External connectivity includes a dedicated SIM card slot on the side for cellular network access. The front panel provides 2 USB A 3.2 ports, 2 USB A 2.0 ports, and 2 HDMI 2.1 TMDS video outputs. The rear panel provides 4 separate 2.5GbE RJ 45 ethernet ports for local networking alongside 1 RS 232 serial interface using an RJ 45 connector for legacy industrial equipment.
