Job Ad Shows CD Projekt Red's New Game Project Hadar Will Be About Hand-To-Hand Fight
A new job post has let out some info on CD Projekt Red's secret new game, called Project Hadar. A job ad found not long ago suggests this game will be big on close-up fights.
What We Learn From the Job Post
The firm wants a Senior Gameplay Designer for Project Hadar. The ad says you must have five years of making RPG or action games with a lot of hand-to-hand combat. This hints that fighting up close will be a main part of playing the game.
The job also asks for skills in Unreal Engine 4 and 5, which fits with the company's news that they will use Epic's engines for all future games. Other than the fight stuff, there’s no more fresh info about the game in the ad.
Project Hadar Among Big Upcoming Games at CDPR
Project Hadar is one of a few big games being made by the studio in Poland. It is one of their line-up with Project Orion, which follows Cyberpunk 2077, and the new Witcher game, yet to get an official name but known as The Witcher 4.
The next Witcher game will have Ciri and will try to use the latest tech. It is being made mainly for consoles. While we don’t know much on how they will do this, the studio’s recent tech demo showed they aim to push high visual and tech quality in their future projects.
