Ryzen Master 3.0.0.4199 Out Now with New Threadripper PRO 9000 WX Support
AMD has put out a new Ryzen Master tool, now letting you overclock the new Zen 5-based Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 WX series chips. This lets people with these top-end workstation CPUs tweak how they work without going into the system BIOS.
Easy Overclocking and Tweaks Right Away
The main thing in Ryzen Master version 3.0.0.4199 is that it now works with the Threadripper PRO 9000 WX series, which have between 16 and 96 cores. You can change core speeds, power needs, and memory times right in the tool and put them in place without having to restart the system.
Along with the new CPU help, the update adds a few key better parts. It's now better for the Ryzen 9000 series on the AM5 setup too. Plus, switching to the PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) Advanced mode can now be done right away, no need for a reboot.
New Look and Known Problem
This release shows off a new user interface made to better the way users feel using it. It has a real-time area to watch system settings, lets you save many performance setups for different uses, and a new Smart Stress Test tool.
AMD has said there's a known problem where the tool may start slow on PCs with a lot of CPU cores, like the new Threadripper PRO chips. They are working on fixing this.
