New Abxylute N6 and N9 Controllers for Nintendo Switch 2
Abxylute announced it is going to release two new controller kinds for the Nintendo Switch 2. The N6 Switch Deck and N9 Switch Grip are exclusive controller types to substitute the standard Joy-Con 2 controllers of the console.
Abxylute N6 Switch Deck Details
The N6 Switch Deck is a single-piece controller alternative ergonomic shell for the Nintendo Switch 2. So you disconnect the traditional Joy-Con 2 controllers. The main console unit slides into the N6 unit as connects via built-in USB-C port. The idea is rather similar to the Nitro Deck for the original Nintendo Switch.
No specific technical details nor price have been released for the N6, although Abxylute intends to conduct a user poll to determine final colors, renders depicting it in purple, pink, and black.
The Abxylute N9 Switch Grip Controller
The N9 Switch Grip Controller is another replacement for Joy-Con 2, which connects to the Switch 2 via the USB-C for this controller. This comes with added features, missing from N6.
- Display Output: The N9 also supports the video output to an external display.
- More Buttons: It has four programmable back buttons.
- Built-in Kickstand: It has an integrated kickstand that allows tabletop play.
According to Abxylute, the performance and feel-wise, the N9 is comparable to its S9 mobile controller for Android and iOS devices.
Pricing and Availability
The price and release date for either N6 or N9 have yet to be confirmed. Abxylute has confirmed that more information will be released sometime in October.
