Razer Launches Huntsman V3 Pro Keyboard Customized for Competitive Esports
Razer has updated its key gaming mechanical board, the Huntsman V3 Pro special edition. This new variant is faster, has new optical switches, and sustains its main functionalities of registering from single clicks to analog input that mimic a gamepad stick's behavior.
Key Competitive Enhancements
This version of Huntsman V3 Pro was designed meticulously for speed at any given moment during competitive gaming. The main improvements are:
- 8000 Hz Polling Rate: Thus, greater reduction of input latency has been attained by qualitatively increasing the maximum from 1000 Hz to 8000 Hz.
- New Optical Switches: New optical switches of the following two technologies are being employed:
- Rapid Trigger: This essentially resets the switch just 0.1 mm away from the return travel for quick-fire repeated strokes.
- Snap Tap: This way, it registers only on the last key pressed, without the necessity of completely releasing a previous key to activate a new.
Build and Design Details
Razer states that particular consideration was put into minimizing the noise of the keyboard during development. These came factory-prel ubricated for a smooth action. Do take note that the switches are neither hot-swappable nor can be replaced without soldering.

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8kHz special edition is up for sale in the market of the United States and comes in green, black, and white colors, ranging between $219 to $249. A full-sized version that comes with a digital hub is also available.
