NVIDIA has released the GeForce Game Ready 616.92 graphics driver, adding official performance profiles for several games using RTX and DLSS technology. The update focuses on visual upgrades for titles like 007 First Light and PUBG while resolving persistent desktop glitches caused by earlier releases. However, the package contains zero fixes for in game bugs.
The driver delivers official support for the 007 First Light path tracing update alongside DLSS Super Resolution integration in PUBG. Performance adjustments also cover upcoming titles supporting RTX features, including Active Matter, WARDOGS, and Aniimo. According to the official NVIDIA announcement, Aniimo is also scheduled to integrate NVIDIA ACE in early 2027, which will let players talk directly with companion digital pets through generative AI models.
Outside of game profiles, the update tackles 3 system level display bugs that appeared in the previous 616.56 build. It fixes a desktop issue where web browsers suffered from intermittent screen flickering while loading certain web pages. It also restores the ability to create virtual displays, which had stopped working after updating to the previous driver release. Users connecting to secondary systems through Remote Desktop Protocol sessions will no longer encounter unexpected black screens.
The 616.92 software package is ready for download across all supported GeForce desktop and laptop graphics cards. Users can install the official update directly through the NVIDIA App or by grabbing the standalone installer from the company website.
