ASUS Teases the Refreshing of the "NEO" Motherboard for AM5 Platform

A teaser has suddenly emerged with a video, showing the much anticipated "NEO" series of motherboards for the AM5 platform. This series should be unveiled soon at CES and will consist of models from the highly successful ROG, TUF Gaming, and ProArt Creator series.

What the 'NEO' Teaser Reveals

The video lasts just 18 seconds, showing glimpses of these new motherboards. Although the motherboards' specifications are yet to be revealed, the teaser has been quite clear in confirming that the NEO lineup will include several existing ASUS brands such as the following: ROG (Republic of Gamers), TUF Gaming, and ProArt Creator.

A Refresh That Focuses on Features Being Updated

Given that the NEO series seems like a refresh to the existing AM5 800-series models rather than a completely new generation, updates will likely be focused on improved connectivity and other incremental improvements.

One shot in the close-up clearly shows the text "WIFI7 NEO" on a motherboard, pointing out that Wi-Fi 7 will be a key selling point of these updated models. This further implies a new nomenclature convention under which ASUS would likely append "NEO" to the names of existing models to distinguish these refreshed versions.

Full model names, features, and technical improvements of the ASUS NEO motherboard series are expected to be announced at CES.
