Sapphire Details Flagship PURE X870A WIFI 7 Motherboard
The company has released the full technical specifications about the flagbearer motherboard PURE X870A WIFI 7. The ATX board is the first to be designed by the company based on the AMD X870 chipset with capabilities for present and future AMD processors.
Core Hardware and Platform Support
The motherboard is designed to accommodate Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors from AMD.
- Power Delivery: A 16+2+1 phase VRM fed by a pair of 8-pin EPS is in charge.
- RAM: A maximum of 256 GB can be used for four DDR5 DIMM slots, overclockable to 8400 MT/s.
- Expansion Slots: It has one PCIe 5.0 x16, one PCIe 4.0 x4, and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot.
Networking and Connectivity
Motherboard offers contemporary networking and an array of I/O ports.
- Networking: It combines Realtek 2.5 GbE LAN controller with Wi-Fi 7 (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands support) and Bluetooth 5.4.
- Rear I/O: DisplayPort, HDMI, a USB4 Type-C (with 40 Gbps, DisplayPort Alt Mode, and 15W PD), and a mix of USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 ports and six audio jacks powered by Realtek ALC897 codec, along with a Flash BIOS button.
- Front Panel Headers: USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and USB 2.0 ports are supported by connectors.
