Asus Opens European Pre-Orders for Refreshed Zenbook S16 with AMD Gorgon Point

Asus has officially opened pre-orders for its latest Zenbook S16 laptop in the UK and Poland. Following its global debut at CES 2026, this updated model replaces earlier versions with a redesigned chassis and the latest AMD Gorgon Point processors.

Technical Specifications and Design

The new Zenbook S16 maintains a lightweight profile for its size, weighing just 1.5 kg. It features significant hardware upgrades compared to the previous generation:

  • Display: 16-inch OLED panel capable of 1,000 nits brightness.
  • Processor: Powered by AMD Gorgon Point chips, specifically the Ryzen AI 9 465 and Ryzen AI 7 445.
  • Battery: Equipped with an 83 Wh battery.
  • Memory: Configurable with up to 32 GB of RAM.

Pricing and Configuration

Asus is offering different storage configurations depending on the region. While the US store currently lists older Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 models, the European market is receiving the new specifications immediately.

United Kingdom

In the UK, two distinct variations have been revealed:

  • High-End Model: Ryzen AI 9 465, 32 GB RAM, and a 2 TB SSD priced at £1,699.99.
  • Entry Model: Ryzen AI 7 445, 32 GB RAM, and a 1 TB SSD priced at £1,499.99.

Poland

The Polish market offers the high-end processor but with less storage:

  • Configuration: Ryzen AI 9 465, 32 GB RAM, and a 1 TB SSD priced at PLN 7,499.

Pre-orders for the new Zenbook S16 are expected to begin shipping in early February.
