Khadas Mind Go A 3-in-1 Modular Device Shaped by the Community

Khadas has announced its ambition for its next project known as Mind Go, which is set to serve as a versatile 3-in-1 device that incorporates a tablet, laptop, and desktop. Currently, this innovative product is in the active stages of development and prototyping, focusing on community co-creation to finalize its design.

Core Design and Features

The Mind Go is developed with a core set of design objectives:

  • Ultra-Thin & Lightweight: The product is projected to register a 6.1 mm of thickness for better portability.
  • Ultra-Thin & Lightweight
  • Turbo Performance Mode: When attached to the Mind Go Stand accessory, it will push its engines to develop up to 30W steady output to meet professional work demands.
  • Split Battery Design: Part of the battery unit will be integrated into the Mind Go Keyboard, thus leaving this main tablet thin and increasing the overall battery life.
  • Modular Ecosystem: Variety of accessories to enable seamless transformation between tablet, laptop, and desktop modes.

Community Co-Creation Key Decisions Up for Vote

Khadas seeks the help of the community to help it finalize the product by voting for vital specifications. Two major decisions will, thus, be taken relying on users' feedback.

Processor ARM (Snapdragon) vs. x86

The users will help in deciding the CPU architecture. An ARM-based version would likely offer longer lasting battery life and produce less heat which is conveniently used in the mobile arena, while an x86 version would have full compatibility with Windows and have somewhat better performance behavior in professional workflows.

Display Size 11.6 inches vs. 13 inches

Community votes are to be generated again for deciding on the display size. An 11.6-inch display prioritizes portability and is easier to hold but a 13-inch display has even more workspace for productivity but might also exceed the current 700g target weight.

Early-Bird Offer and How to Participate

Project enthusiasts can subscribe with their email to receive project updates as development progresses and also secure an early-bird offer. The subscription window opens until January 31st, 2026.

If the product is officially launched, subscribers will receive a 10% discount for purchases made on the Khadas Shop. Community members can also submit feedback and suggestions, with active participants potentially gaining early access to engineering prototype testing.
