Lenovo introduces IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 laptops featuring Snapdragon X2P 42 100 processors with advanced AI NPU capabilities and versatile OLED display configurations for 2026
Lenovohas unwrapped its newest laptop system which is the IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 as the latest entry in their mainline laptop collection. The design of this product achieves lightweight portability while it operates with the energy saving design of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The launch marks another step in developing hardware which companies create for their work with artificial intelligence plus their need for power efficient systems.
The new laptop system operates through the Snapdragon X2P 42 100 system on chip which serves as its main technical base. The processor contains a six core central processing unit together with a special neural processing unit which delivers 80 TOPS of AI capabilities. The chip includes LPDDR5X memory together with an M.2 SSD which operates on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface to deliver fast data transfer performance.
Lenovo provides multiple configurations of its IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 across two different display sizes. Users who want 13 inch devices can select between:
- An IPS panel which supports Full HD plus resolution at 60Hz with touch capabilities
- A qHD plus IPS display operating at 120Hz refresh speed
The 15.3 inch model offers:
- A 120Hz Full HD plus IPS touch screen
- A premium qHD plus OLED panel which operates at 165Hz for enhanced color reproduction and motion display accuracy
The compact design of the IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 provides users with complete set of interface options which include all essential connection ports. The device features:
- Two USB C ports and two USB A ports
- One HDMI 2.1 output and a microSD card reader
- Wireless connections through Wi Fi 7 technology
- A 3.5 millimeter audio jack
The 13 inch version of the device uses a 54.7 Watt hour battery for power management while the 15.3 inch version allows users to select between the 54.7 Watt hour standard battery and the 70 Watt hour extended battery option.
