Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 Renders Reveal Hybrid Tablet and Speaker Design
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 Renders display a design that combines a hybrid speaker system with its tablet configuration. The insider Evan Blass has shared leaked renders of the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 which show different design elements that move away from traditional tablet designs through their emphasis on superior sound performance and intelligent display capabilities. The device which has not been publicly revealed yet contains a significant feature which is a large JBL speaker that is positioned at the center of the device and built into the back of the unit.
The device contains two main functionalities which allow users to operate the device and maintain its current position. The Tab Plus Gen 2 tablet functions as a hybrid portable speaker and smart display device because it does not use standard tablets which need thin side firing speakers to produce sound. The large rear speaker has a metal ring that creates a folding kickstand. The device can stand without needing a case because its design allows for standing use on flat surfaces which makes it perfect for watching videos and listening to music.
The rear panel contains both the main camera and the physical controls which include power and volume buttons to provide users with a design that supports both handheld and docked viewing modes.
Lenovo plans to deliver the Tab Plus Gen 2 with an accessory package which supports its design as a device for portable use based on the information from the leak. The package is expected to include

- Shoulder Strap Bag A dedicated carrying solution for mobile use
The internal hardware specifications for the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 will remain secret until March 2026. The processor and RAM capacity and display resolution remain unknown at this time. Lenovo has not revealed either the official launch date or global market pricing information.
The design targets users who want superior audio quality and multiple functions which positions the tablet as a rival to both premium tablets and dedicated smart speakers.
