Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro Launch Expands High End Wearable Portfolio With Sapphire AMOLED Display Clinical Grade Tracking And Long Battery Endurance
Amazfit officially introduced Cheetah 2 Pro to establish itself as a premium fitness wearable brand. The new model serves as a direct evolution of the brand’s sports oriented philosophy, prioritizing heavy duty hardware and extended endurance. The company has unveiled a product that operates effectively in high intensity training environments while displaying an design which suits everyday use.
The visual centerpiece of the chassis is a circular 1.32 inch AMOLED panel, which delivers a resolution of 466x466 pixels. The manufacturer chose sapphire crystal glass for outdoor use because it provides protection against outdoor conditions while achieving maximum brightness of 3000 cd/m². The frame itself occupies a 48 mm diameter, paired with a 20 mm strap interface, signaling a robust and substantial wrist presence designed to accommodate a wide variety of active user types.
Internal tracking capabilities are anchored by an Airoha Technology AG3353 GNSS module, which provides users with precise positioning data for their navigation through different kinds of terrain. The company markets its multi faceted 5PD PPG sensor as a clinical grade health monitoring tool which enables personal health analysis. The software suite is equally expansive, managing over 170 distinct sports activities and providing a virtual coaching interface that offers actionable insights into physical performance metrics.
Cheetah 2 Pro achieves its endurance performance through a 540 mAh power cell. Amazfit reports that the device can operate continuously for 29 hours during GPS tracking while users can expect seven days of battery life through normal daily usage. The manufacturer confirmed that users who need extended battery life can activate an additional power saving mode which will extend their device's battery life to approximately 20 days.
The hardware package includes practical additions which feature a dedicated LED flashlight, an NFC chip for secure contactless transactions, and a microphone speaker assembly that enables direct telecommunication. The watch is further fortified against the elements with a 5ATM water resistance rating. The Cheetah 2 Pro is currently available in European markets at a price of €449 which positions it against leading dedicated athletic trackers.
