Sony Inzone M10S II Gaming Monitor Developed with Fnatic Features Dual Mode OLED Technology with 540Hz and 720Hz Refresh Rates at a Premium Price Point

The Inzone M10S II marks Sony's attempt to regain control over the premium gaming display market. The esports organization Fnatic worked closely with developers to create new hardware which represents a major shift from the original 2024 model that had been criticized for its high cost and limited functionality. The M10S II has a price of $1,099.99 which will be available for purchase through Sony stores only later this year.

The M10S II uses a dual mode OLED panel which operates with fourth generation WOLED technology as its main feature. The monitor displays QHD resolution at 540Hz refresh rate in its main operating mode. The 720Hz refresh rate is now possible because Sony added a new mode that decreases both active image area and effective resolution to 24.5 inches. The functionality enables users to select between clear motion presentation with fast input response times or high pixel density according to their professional gaming requirements.

The visual fidelity underwent a complete technical transformation. The predecessor lacked black frame insertion (BFI), a feature that the M10S II now adopts. Sony claims its proprietary BFI algorithm manages to maintain higher brightness levels than competitor implementations which typically lead to dim, washed out images during motion blur reduction. The screen features a super anti glare film which has been newly developed to protect against reflections that standard OLED panels create through its matte texture.

The update includes two main elements which are connectivity and physical build quality. The unit includes a DisplayPort 2.1a interface which supports 54Gbps bandwidth and an HDMI 2.1 port and a functional USB hub. The stand has been modified to enable wider tilt movement while maintaining the original disc shaped design. Sony plans to use its Fnatic branded panel technology to establish value for its four figure product price because LG and other competitors now provide accessible OLED specifications with dual mode QHD displays at more affordable rates.
