AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY 32G Graphics Card Launches with Red Dot Design Award and Advanced WINDFORCE Hyperburst Cooling System and 32GB GDDR7 Memory for High End Computing
The AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY 32G marks the launch of Gigabytes high end graphics card collection. Gigabyte confirmed through its official statement that its top product won a Red Dot Design Award because it successfully merged high end computing capacity with innovative design elements. The AORUS brand presents its INFINITY series as a new technical benchmark because it achieves maximum thermal efficiency and structural durability across the gaming hardware sector.
The thermal design base of the system uses the WINDFORCE Hyperburst cooling system as its fundamental component. This architecture uses a double flow through design to allow air to move through the heatsink via direct pathways. The Design Team at Gigabyte created a backplate system which permits 58% more airflow through its design than conventional backplates and 28% more airflow through its double hollow backplate design. The design aims to improve air movement in the system while stopping heat from building up during heavy processing tasks. The card features an internal cooling component which operates as a hidden overdrive fan located in its central area. The fan operates on a dedicated curve which activates when the GPU reaches its maximum load to provide additional cool air while maintaining the visual appearance of dual fans on the exterior.
The internal thermal system contains a large vapor chamber which establishes direct contact with the GPU to enhance heat transfer efficiency. The system features superconducting heat pipes which use different capillary structures to effectively control the temperature in multiple heat zones. The GPU receives high performance composite metal grease as its thermal interface material while server grade thermal conductive gel operates as the VRAM and MOSFET thermal interface material to maintain proper contact on uneven surfaces. System operation relies on Hawk fan technology which boosts air pressure by 53.6% and air volume by 12.5% while keeping noise levels to a minimum through its patented blade design.
The AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY 32G operates on the hardware specifications listed below:
- Processing Unit: GeForce RTX 5090 with 21760 CUDA cores
- Memory: 32GB of GDDR7 memory
- Memory Interface: 512 bit bus at 28 Gbps clock speed
- Factory Overclock: Core clock of 2730 MHz
- Resolution Support: Digital resolutions up to 7680x4320
- Bus Type: PCI E 5.0 card bus supporting four simultaneous displays
The exterior design draws inspiration from aerospace nacelle engineering which imitates the design of twin jet engines. Die casting metal forms the construction of the shroud and backplate which provides structural support while keeping the internal PCB safe. Visual features include RGB Halo lighting which creates signature patterns and a black thermal module which features curved cooling fins to enhance surface area. The card requires a power supply of 1000W through a single 16 pin connector for operation. The device has three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port for output connections.
The retail package contains multiple accessories which include a VGA holder kit a 12V 2x6 to 4x PCIe 8pin adapter a warranty registration card a quick guide an AORUS metal sticker tweezers and AORUS branded gloves.
