HMD Global Launches Vibe 2 5G Entry Level Smart Phone Featuring 120Hz Display Large 6000 mAh Battery And Fast Unisoc T8200 Chipset At Affordable Prices
HMD Global has launched another entry level smart phone the Vibe 2 5G. This model is aimed at users on a budget and integrates modern mobile data connectivity with a long life battery and a fast displaying. The handset has already made its way into the hands of users in China as an attractive entry level option for consumers, given the hardware being offered for the extremely affordable entry level price.
The Vibe 2 5G will have a 6.75 inch IPS LCD that displays images at a HD+ resolution on the front of the device. Most importantly for this price bracket the displaying is capable of a 120Hz display rate, making scrolling and animations smoother compared to typical budget phones. Performance will be handled by the Unisoc T8200 5G chipset, which will allow connectivity for the fastest possible networks. Up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage are available on the hardware side of things.
For the camera on the rear of the Vibe 2 5G will have dual cameras, comprising of a main 50 megapixel snapper and an additional 2 megapixel unit which will add depth information. The front will have an 8 megapixel front facing camera situated on the display, which can be used for video calling and snapping selfies. Power will be supplied by a large 6000 mAh battery which supports 18 watt fast charging.
The Vibe 2 5G will ship with Android 16 operating system on board, the manufacture has confirmed there will be two years of subsequent software operating system upgrades. The handset is being sold by the manufacturer in 3 different color finishes that include, blue, pink and purple.
The different price points will come with the amount of RAM and internal storage, so the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model costs $90, the version with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will cost $105 while the model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will sell for $115 in China.
