POCO Pad C1 Global Launch Includes High Refresh Rate IPS Display Snapdragon Hardware and Budget Friendly Price
POCO launches the Pad C1 in the global market, which according to official sales specs is equipped with inexpensive hardware, 120Hz high refresh rate screen and balanced battery performance. The tablet is aimed at common daily tasks and positioned as an affordable starting option for global consumers who need media consumption but don't want to spend extra money.
The 9.7 inch IPS display on the front of the tablet has a resolution of 2048x1280 pixels. This panel supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, with a peak brightness that reaches up to 600 nits for brighter visibility in direct light. There is also a blue light filter, flicker free backlight and color temperature adjustment system designed to match the body's natural rhythm to protect the eyes after a prolonged period.
The tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G mobile chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM accompanied by either 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The tablet is given a modest 8 megapixel camera for taking pictures and scanning documents and a 5 megapixel front camera for taking photos or conducting video calls.
The tablet is powered by a large 7600 mAh battery that charges at a speed of 18W. The manufacturer claims that with a single charge, the tablet will last for more than 16 hours of reading online, 18 hours of listening to audio, or 15 hours of watching video online. Stereo speakers, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot with up to 2TB expandable storage are also present on the device.
The POCO Pad C1 is launched in Thailand, with additional availability across regions to follow shortly. It is available for sale at a starting price of $150 for the 4GB+64GB configuration and $180 for the 6GB+128GB configuration.
