ASUS Unveils ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 Power Supply

ASUS ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 Flagship Power Supply Features Server Grade GaN Components and Supports Four GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs

ASUS announced the brand's most powerful consumer power supply unit ever at Computex – ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20. To commemorate Republic of Gamers' 20th anniversary the latest flagship power delivery system will be released in June. ASUS stated at product demonstration that the hardware is ready to deliver the extreme power demands from multi GPU systems, with the power supply capable of operating up to 4 GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards.

Gallium nitride transistors have been adopted by the new ROG Thor on its internal hardware and have been implemented on server grade GaN components to minimize thermal loss and enhance electrical efficiency. For safe transfer of the power ASUS provided an ROG Equalizer 12V 2x6 power cable, claiming a significantly lower connection temperature that guarantees steady thermal performance under intense and constant loads.

The power supply includes a sophisticated voltage stabilizer to protect computer components from sudden voltage spikes. There is an OLED display screen included on the chassis of the power supply to track real time power usage information of the system. To facilitate placement inside any computer case, the display is detachable and can be relocated and fixed with a provided USB extension cable.

The ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 has obtained the prestigious 80 Plus Titanium efficiency certification to minimize waste in AC to DC power transfer. It also boasts ARGB Aura Sync support to enhance aesthetic personalization, which synchronizes with the other ARGB devices within your build. For the user's component safety, it includes full hardware protection mechanisms against short circuit, over current, and over voltage. ASUS has yet to announce a release date and price for the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20.
