Based on the official announcement of the Honor product, the smartwatch combines a wear resistant chassis with advanced navigation capabilities and a robust suite of health tracking to deliver a flagship grade experience.

The biggest attraction is undoubtedly Honor’s massive 980mAh battery. Under optimal power saving conditions, this can last up to 35 days, a feat few competitors can even dream of. For comparison, the larger 44mm Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 only uses a 435mAh battery, while the earlier Honor Watch 5 Ultra came with a 480mAh battery. This massive battery ensures you can carry it while traveling or on trips far from the reach of a charger.

The device is dominated by a 1.46 inch round AMOLED display with a resolution of 464x464 pixels, offering a peak brightness of 3000 nits for excellent outdoor visibility. Honor uses different materials depending on the color variation; Black Honor Watch 6 has an aluminum chassis and a fluoroelastomer strap, while the brown variant comes in a stainless steel body with a leather strap. The overall design measures 46 mm in diameter with a thickness of 10.8 mm and weighs only 50 grams.

Under the surface, the smartwatch comes with 4GB of RAM and a dual band GPS for highly accurate navigation outdoors. Software is equally impressive with an AI powered running coach, and it supports tracking of 120 sport modes. On the bottom, there is a sensor to monitor heart rate, stress levels, sleep patterns and physical stress of the user. Additionally, the Watch 6 allows users to set video wallpaper.

The Honor Watch 6 boasts an IP69 dustproof and water resistant rating and 5 ATM depth rating, meaning it can survive high pressure, water jet blasts, and dive as deep as 50 meters underwater. The touch screen can also operate even when it is wet, making it an excellent device to use while swimming or even in rainy weather.

Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and hands free navigation with gesture control make up the connectivity package. The price of the flagship wearable starts at approximately €269,90 euro.
